TRAINING

Fundación Altiplano workshops offer internship programs and training throughout the year, then, the former students applied their knowledge on different projects under execution. Fundacion Altiplano is open to receive a wide range of professional who are in search of training in areas and disciplines related to heritage restoration, culture and sustainable development.

All training conducted by the institution are part of the activities of the Research Center CIPADES Heritage and Sustainable Development, one of the 4 permanent and important projects of Fundación Altiplano, linked to the restoration and historical and anthropological valuations plan of Andean churches in the Arica and Parinacota region sustainable development model.

CIPADES performs the work to technicians and professionals on issues related to the recovery, conservation and management of natural and cultural heritage. The contents of the offer training are, among others: English language, heritage preservation, restoration techniques of earth construction, cultural production, gastronomy, tourism and non-conventional renewable energy. CIPADES also performed work on the dissemination of knowledge and cultural heritage exhibitions and temporary exhibitions, in coordination with the local community. The outreach is aimed at promoting the traditional culture of the community hosting CIPADES and is directly linked to the outreach work done by the audiovisual project Arica Nativa.
